Terms of Use

Last updated: April 2026. By using dlinsta.app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Service description

dlinsta.app is a web-based tool that extracts publicly available media from Instagram using yt-dlp. It generates temporary download links for video (MP4), audio (MP3), and photo slides (ZIP). The service is provided 'as is' without warranty of any kind.

Acceptable use

You may use dlinsta.app to download public Instagram content for personal, educational, or research purposes. You must not use the service to infringe copyright, harass creators, or redistribute content commercially without permission from the original creator. Automated access (scraping, bots) without an API key is prohibited. Pro and Business API plans are available for programmatic use.

Intellectual property

dlinsta.app does not claim ownership of any Instagram content. All downloaded media remains the intellectual property of its original creator and/or Instagram/ByteDance. We act as a technical intermediary accessing publicly available streams.

Limitation of liability

dlinsta.app is not liable for any damages arising from the use of the service, including but not limited to copyright claims, data loss, or service interruptions. The service is provided without guarantees of availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Account and API terms

Free usage is rate-limited (see current limits on the pricing page). Pro and Business plans are billed via Stripe on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time through the Stripe customer portal. API keys are personal and must not be shared.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the service for users who violate these terms, abuse rate limits, or use the service for illegal purposes. We may also discontinue the service entirely at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The 'Last updated' date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
